TWENTY-TWENTY-THREE

2020 was a hard reset.

2021 was a time for rebuilding.

2022 was a time for transitions.

2023 will be a chance for us to re-align our plans to what God has been trying to tell us for the past years. The pandemic has really driven our family to our knees. We have realized what mattered most and Who holds our future. We have seen the importance of being good stewards of our resources and also not being fully dependent on money. We felt the Lord’s presence through the generosity and kindness of the local church and pay it forward. We understood that our health takes precedence over everything aside from our faith and trust in the Lord our God.

All those realizations should not be taken for granted. That is why I will try my best to extract every ounce of life lessons I’ve gained from all those years (even earlier than 2020) and document them here. These records are primarily for me and my family. If anyone else, besides us, would benefit from them, then I praise the Lord for speaking through me. I have nothing to boast about. Everything that happened in my life is because of God’s amazing grace.

I will also look forward to what God has planned for me in the coming days, weeks, and months. It is comforting to know that the God who created the universe is the same God who has thought of me in eternity past and has brought me up to this point of my life. I owe everything to Him and I have no reason to doubt His sovereignty.

I don’t expect this year to be an easy run. I anticipate more situations where I am forced to look unto Jesus, the author, and perfecter of my core beliefs. If you could only feel the acid reflux I’m having while typing this out. Still…Your will Lord…not mine. Bring me and my family to a place where You will be glorified. I will try and trust You, Lord. Help me trust You this 2023.
